I so wanted to like this kettle
Aesthetically, this kettle is beautiful and looked beautiful on my stove. Sadly, the handle is loose and moves easily. I'm afraid it won't last. Also, there is a ball in the spout that impedes the flow of water when pouring and once moved out of the way mid-pour and ended up pouring - or shooting more like - boiling hot water all over my counter. The silicone on the handle is a nice touch as it doesn't get too hot and my princess hands can pick up it up without using a tea towel to protect it from burning. The whistle is nice. It's not a jarring high pitched squeal like some kettles, it's more like a soothing low-pitched sound. I wanted to like this very expensive tea kettle. My sister in law has the same one and says she doesn't have the same problems. It came in a Fellow's box, so it doesn't look like a knock off. It was less expensive than from the Fellow's store, so maybe it's an earlier model? Dare I question if it's actually a knock off? I will be returning it and still hunting for my perfect kettle.
